Tranquil Retreat: Elora’s Grand River, Waterfalls, and Greenery

宁静的避世之所：埃洛拉的大河、瀑布和绿意

Welcome to my post number 2 about Elora, Ontario, Canada. In my last post, I shared some of the unique architecture in Elora and how their buildings their were built uniquely with limestone. However, this post is going to focus more on the nature side of things.

欢迎来到我关于加拿大安大略省埃洛拉的第二篇文章。在上一篇文章中，我分享了埃洛拉一些独特的建筑，以及这些建筑如何用石灰岩独特建造。然而，这篇文章将更多地关注自然方面。

Elora is located alongside a part of the Grand River, a long river located in Ontario stretching across at about 280 kilometres. Surrounding the river boasts some beautiful greenery, including a variety species of trees and other plants. Along the Grand River are a number of different waterfalls as the river heads down. There is nothing quite like sitting on a bench watching and listening to a waterfall as a way to relax.

埃洛拉位于大河的一部分旁边，这条河流位于安大略省，全长约280公里。河流周围拥有美丽的绿色植物，包括多种树木和其他植物。沿着大河有许多不同的瀑布，河水向下流淌。坐在长椅上观看和倾听瀑布的声音，真是一种放松的绝佳方式。

Naturally, along the river are several bridges which allow people to cross the river safely. These bridges bring out a certain additional charm to the Grand River as they do all around the world. As I currently reside in China, I know that China is no exception to this. I will be sure to share more photos of China in the future!

The Elora Quarry which can be seen below is a uniquely coloured quarry in which people can enjoy a soak or a swim in. The Elora Quarry has a stunning green colour to it which stands out from the colour of the Grand River. The Elora Quarry itself is surrounded by luscious greenery which reflects beautifully in the water.

下方的埃洛拉采石场是一处独特的彩色采石场，人们可以在这里享受浸泡或游泳。埃洛拉采石场呈现出惊艳的绿色，与大河的颜色形成鲜明对比。采石场周围环绕着丰盛的绿植，映衬在水中显得格外美丽。

Below, you can see the Elora Mill Hotel and Spa from a different angle than my previous post. A stunning hotel which I am confident offers a great view of the Grand River, the Drimmie Dam and the surrounding areas.

下面，你可以看到埃洛拉磨坊酒店和水疗中心的不同角度。这是一家令人惊叹的酒店，我相信它能提供大河、德里米大坝和周边地区的美丽景观。

Below, the Drimmie Dam can be seen from a a nearby park which is meant for hiking and this specific viewpoint. It’s quite the sight to behold!

This sums up my trip to the beautiful Elora and its natural surroundings influenced slightly by mankind.
