The Majestic Great Wall of China

雄伟的中国长城

The Great wall of China is an awe-inspiring beauty which contains a significant history important to China. Who hasn’t heard of The Great Wall of China? I remember it being one of the first famous places I learned about in China as a child and due to COVID-19, had to postpone a trip to Beijing and the Great Wall twice during my residency in China over the past 5 years.

The Great Wall of China, specifically the ‘Badaling’ section of the Great Wall which I visited, lives up to the fame and glory I heard about growing up. The Great Wall and its surrounding areas are filled with stunning visuals and winding paths which had stood the test of time. It truly is a wonder of the world whether you enjoy it for its historic relevance or are a photography enthusiast such as myself. But don’t just take my word for it, take a look at some of the captivating photographs I managed to snap during my trip there:

长城是一座令人惊叹的美丽建筑，蕴含着对中国非常重要的历史。谁没听说过长城呢？我记得它是我小时候在中国学到的第一个著名景点之一，由于新冠疫情，我在过去五年中两次推迟了去北京和长城的旅行。

我参观的长城特别是“八达岭”段，确实名副其实，充满了我从小听说的荣耀。长城及其周围地区充满了令人惊叹的视觉效果和蜿蜒的小径，经受住了时间的考验。无论你是因为它的历史意义而欣赏它，还是像我一样是摄影爱好者，它确实是世界奇迹之一。但不要只听我的话，看看我在旅行中拍摄的一些迷人的照片吧：

In the distance, the winding wall can be seen taking its long path throughout the mountainous landscape covered in vibrant greenery. The sky added a sense of calm and tranquility to the landscape, although the winds were quite fierce up on the wall. The Great Wall was quite busy, but the people add a certain charm to the photographs taken while on the wall:

远处，蜿蜒的长城穿过覆盖着郁郁葱葱的山地景观。天空为景观增添了一种宁静祥和的感觉，尽管在长城上风很大。长城上人很多，但人们为在长城上拍摄的照片增添了一定的魅力:

Because of the Chinese National holidays being so near to the date I went up on the ‘Badaling’ Wall, there were many people up there. However, it worked out well; it was not so crowded to the point of being unable to move (which I have seen recently on social media) and it kept the experience feeling lively.

由于中国国庆假期临近我去八达岭长城的日期，那里有很多人。不过，这样也不错；并没有拥挤到无法移动的地步（我最近在社交媒体上看到过这种情况），而且让整个体验感觉很热闹。
