The Vibrance and Beauty of Spring Blossoms

春天花卉的生机与美丽

Before moving to Guangzhou in southern China, I imagined a tropical city not having much of a spring season and not having blossoms. However, I was very wrong! Guangzhou is incredibly beautiful during the spring time with a variety of different blossoms and other flowers blooming during the months of February -April. Some of my favourite blossoms are the Hong Kong Orchid blossoms coming from the Hong Kong Orchid Tree (seems strange to have Hong Kong in the name since they grow elsewhere as well). They are a pleasant sight for those having gone through the cool winter of Guangzhou as the weather warms itself up. Take a look at the Hong Kong Orchid blossoms as well as a few others below:
