东京之魂：探索浅草寺

The Senso-Ji temple dates back all the way to 645 AD, when the first of the temples was built. It is considered the oldest temple in all of Tokyo, holding on to it’s history and traditions. The temple was destroyed and rebuilt several times, including during World War II but remained of great importance to the Japanese, particularly in the Tokyo area. Because of it being the cherry blossom season in Japan, there were several tourists creating a bustling vibe of lively energy as tourists from all around the world visited the temple. Tourists were seen testing their luck with fortunes, snapping photos of the beautiful scenery, and of course eating the delicious food and snacks the surrounding area had to offer.
