A Place Like No Other: Akihabara (Akiba, Japan)

Akihabara is a unique part of Tokyo, Japan that is famous for its focus on gaming, electronics, maid cafes, anime, manga and electronics. Even if you are not particularly interested in these, its a unique experience as, in my case, I have never quite seen a place that quite fits the uniqueness that Akihabara has to offer. To truly understand what I mean, I have shared a selection of shots I took of the popular Akiba area which many “otaku-themed” boards and shops can be seen.
