Capturing the Serenity: A Photographic Journey Through Huadu Lake

Huadu Lake, nestled in Huadu in the northern part of Guangzhou, is where I used to enjoy my runs along the tranquil paths when I lived nearby. The serene atmosphere of the area is truly captivating. This past Saturday, I visited the lake with a new intention: to capture its beauty through photography. Huadu Lake is surrounded by lush greenery and intriguing buildings that make it a visually stunning locale. Rather than just reading about it, take a look at the photos and see the charm for yourself!

花都湖，位于广州北部的花都区，这里曾是我住在附近时常跑步的地方。其宁静的氛围令人心情舒畅。上个星期六，我再次来到这个湖泊，但这次是为了拍摄它的美景。花都湖四周绿意盎然，还有一些有趣的建筑，使其成为一个视觉上令人惊叹的地方。与其阅读描述，不如亲眼看看照片，感受一下它的魅力吧！

Walking (or running) along the path, you’ll encounter a variety of plants—many of which I had never seen before, coming from Toronto, Canada. Guangzhou, with its subtropical climate, enjoys mild winters, allowing blossoms and flowers to flourish even at this time of year. As the Lunar New Year approaches, lanterns are hung throughout Huadu Park and the rest of Guangzhou, adding to the festive atmosphere.

在这条路上行走（或跑步），你会遇到各种各样的植物——许多是我从多伦多来时从未见过的。广州拥有亚热带气候，冬季温和，即使在这个季节，花卉和植物也能繁茂生长。随着农历新年的临近，花都公园及广州其他地区都挂上了灯笼，增添了节日的气氛。

As a last photo surprise, I managed to spot and take a shot of some fish seemingly enjoying the nice weather we had that day!
