At night, Dotonbori is a vibrant and energetic part of Osaka filled with neon lights, unique Japanese style bars and a whole lot of Osaka-style food. One particularly famous icon is the Glico Running Man which glows brilliantly above the canal, reflecting off the water along the other flashing billboards that pain the streets is beautiful colours. Due to it being spring when I went, streets were livelier than usual, filled with tourists and Japanese citizens from all over the world and country. The different restaurants and food vendors offer a unique vibe like no other, making Dotonbori stand out from other food streets I’ve experienced both in Japan and China. Dotonbori is a mesmerizing experience whether you’re there for the photos, the food, or the drinking experience!
