Lisbon’s Belém district sits by the Tagus River and is full of history, with highlights like the Jerónimos Monastery and the Monument to the Discoveries. The area is perfect for a riverside walk and offers plenty to see. The famous Belém Tower was under repair during my visit, so access was limited, but the district’s charm and atmosphere remained unforgettable.
