神圣回响:探索北京的天坛
The Temple of Heaven is a massive garden park similar to the park in my last post, the Old Summer Palace. The park is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage site due to its outstanding universal value. Founded in the first half of the 15th century, the Temple of Heaven symbolizes a connection between earth and heaven. Although when I went, it was insanely busy during the Chinese National Week so I was unable to see all the gardens and temple areas had to offer. However, I did manage to snap some great shots:
天坛是一个与我上一篇帖子中的圆明园相似的大型花园公园。由于其卓越的普遍价值,公园被联合国教科文组织列为世界遗产。天坛始建于15世纪上半叶,象征着天地之间的联系。虽然我去的时候正值中国国庆周,人非常多,所以无法看到所有的花园和庙宇区域的景色。但我还是拍了一些很棒的照片:




With some patience and dedication, one can approach the temple in order to view the inside. This proved to be quite difficult due to how crowded the area was but I managed to squeeze in and take a few snaps after about 10-15 minutes.
只要有耐心和毅力,你就可以靠近寺庙查看里面的情况。由于人太多,这相当困难,但我还是挤了进去,在大约10-15分钟后拍了几张照片。




The Temple of Heaven was truly a sight to behold. I visited and snapped photos of other areas of the gardens in which some were rather simple while others were quite stunning. Here are some of the better shots I took:
