The Wondrous Tiananmen Square & the Forbidden City

奇妙的天安门广场和故宫

I’m not much of a history buff so I won’t get much into the history between Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Why I went to these locations in Beijing was to enjoy the experience of being there while enjoying the great sights and of course, taking some great photos. First, here are some photos of Tiananmen Square; here I had a chance to see the flag raising which was a unique experience I recommend to anyone visiting Beijing. I did not snap photos of the event but I snapped a few photos of the area afterwards:

我对历史不太感兴趣，所以我不会深入讲解天安门广场和故宫的历史。我去北京这些地方的原因是为了享受在那里体验的感觉，同时欣赏美景，当然还要拍一些漂亮的照片。首先，这里有一些天安门广场的照片；在这里，我有机会看到升旗仪式，这是一个独特的体验，我推荐给任何来北京的人。我没有拍摄升旗仪式的照片，但我拍了一些之后的区域照片：

After spending some time in Tiananmen Square, eating a light breakfast, and then searching frantically for some coffee, I headed into the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City was an absolutely massive place with several different similar and unique buildings having had serve a variety of different purposes historically. Some of the details in the Forbidden City are outstandingly beautiful and truly wondrous. It was quite busy, but according to a tour guide, it was not nearly as packed as it can be during peak seasons.

在天安门广场待了一段时间，吃了点简单的早餐，然后疯狂地找咖啡之后，我前往了故宫。故宫是一个非常庞大的地方，有许多不同但相似的建筑，这些建筑在历史上有着各种不同的用途。故宫的一些细节非常美丽，真是奇妙无比。虽然人很多，但据导游说，这还远没有达到旺季时的拥挤程度。

It’s quite a lot of photos to share, right? IT was extremely difficult which to share as a whole lot of the photos turned out well and again, the Forbidden Palace is absolutely massive. There is much to see there a lot of ground to walk within the area. Although tiring, it is entirely worth the exercise to experience the Forbidden City for yourself. Below are some of the gritty details of the architecture as well as outside of the architecture:

这次要分享的照片还真不少，对吧？很难决定要分享哪些，因为很多照片都拍得很好，而且故宫实在是太大了。那里有很多东西可以看，整个区域需要走很长的路。虽然很累，但亲自体验故宫的感觉完全值得。以下是一些除了宏伟建筑之外的细节：
